DESIGN FACTORY

METU Design Factory is an R&D center that brings together academics from various departments of our university. The center prioritizes interdisciplinary work and collaborates with the industry, considering students as an integral part of this culture. The Design Factory is an official member of the ‘DFGN: Design Factory Global Network’, and its infrastructure is suitable for R&D and P&D projects with various scopes and different scales.

The interdisciplinary nature of the METU Design Factory provides academicians and mentors from different departments with the opportunity to collaborate on problems without boundaries.

Design Factory aims to cooperate with industrial organizations, national and international community organizations from different sectors. We develop training / research / production models within the scope of these collaborations. Design Factory also promotes involvement in cluster and network activities with stakeholders that it cooperates with.

Collaborations with Design Factory require stakeholders to join forces to solve the problems.
