The Closing Ceremony of DTS Spring’18 carried in Spring Semester 2017-2018 was held on June 1, 2018 with the participation of our guests in the Design Factory. Five different groups of different disciplines have offered innovative solutions after a period of study. After a 10-minute presentation of each group, a question-and-answer session began and groups responded to questions about their projects.

Another Design team, sponsored by Anadolu Efes, has designed an energy saving kit that will make Anadolu Efes cooler cabinets more sustainable. Autodesk has sponsored ‘Mighty Hands’ that discuss social impact to socialize elderly people including younger generation and producing a smart flower and park design. The ‘Lignum’ group worked with EnerjiSA to design a product that will provide damage detection and provide support in case of damage to the tree pylons, which are frequently used today and are likely to break. Our GAMA stakeholder, together with two separate groups, focused on the optimization problem of wind turbines. The ‘Reneopteryx’ group increased its sustainability while focusing on the adaptation of wind turbines as a city furniture. The ‘Threeleafclover’ group focuses on designing a wind turbine, suitable for use at home, where everyone can benefit from wind energy.
